1. Information We Collect

When you browse, register, or order from Pure Vape, we collect the following categories of information:

• Delivery & Billing Data: Street address, city, state, postal code, and delivery country.
• Age Verification Status: Digital confirmation that the purchaser has verified their legal adult age (18+).
• Order & Purchase History: Products, flavours, quantities, totals, discount campaigns applied, and payment methods selected.
• Technical Information: IP address, device type, browser characteristics, and referrer headers for security and fraud prevention.

2. Payment Information & Third-Party Processing

Pure Vape does not store, process, or transmit credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, or internet banking credentials on our servers.

When you select a prepaid payment method, you are routed through an authorized payment gateway provider. Pure Vape only receives a cryptographic verification token, transaction reference, and success/failure notification.

3. Cookies & Local Storage Usage

We use minimal, privacy-respecting client-side storage technologies:

• pv_cart_v1: Stores active cart items and selected flavours so you do not lose your items while browsing.
• pv_payment_v1: Saves your selected payment method (Prepaid or COD) to compute eligible promotional discounts.
• pv_admin_token: Stores session authentication tokens in sessionStorage for authorized administrative personnel.

4. How We Use Your Data

Your personal data is used solely for the following business purposes:

• Processing, picking, packing, and dispatching your orders.
• Sending order confirmation, payment receipt, and dispatch tracking notifications.
• Verifying adult age eligibility and enforcing regional compliance restrictions.
• Responding to customer support inquiries and resolving DOA defect claims.
• Maintaining statutory accounting, tax, and sales transaction ledgers.

5. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We share customer data only with trusted partners strictly necessary for store operations:

• Logistics & Courier Partners: Name, phone number, and delivery address are shared with delivery partners solely to deliver your package.
• Payment Providers: Order reference and total amounts are shared for secure payment settlement.
• Legal Compliance: We may disclose information if required by applicable statutory laws, warrants, or court orders.

We never sell, trade, or monetize your contact details with external marketing companies.

6. Data Retention & Security Controls

Order transaction records are retained in secure, access-controlled data stores (data/orders.json) in compliance with commercial tax and auditing standards. All administrative interfaces require bearer token authentication (PV_ADMIN_TOKEN) with timing-safe validation. All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS SSL/TLS.
